‘Early Years childcare support is expanding, with funded hours now available for children from 9 months old. If you live and work in England you may be entitled to 15 hours funded childcare support from the term after your child turns 9 months old, until they start school. In September 2025, 15 hours for working families with children under 3 will expand to 30 hours, meaning eligible working families will be able to claim 30 hours of childcare from the term after their child turns 9 months until they reach school age.’ – Childcare choices

If you have a child aged 9 months to 4 years old, you may be entitled to a free childcare place. The Free Early Education Entitlement provides up to 15 or 30 hours per week of free childcare for children aged 9 months, two, three and four years old (subject to some eligibility criteria) until they reach compulsory school age. There are three entitlements that are available to children aged 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 years old in Southwark.

Every child aged three and four years old is entitled to receive a maximum of 15 hours of free early education per week, until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday). Parents do not need to apply for this entitlement and there are no eligibility criteria.

Where a child attends additional sessions, outside of any FEEE Funding, Little Acorns Ltd will make a reduction equal to the amount of FEEE funding awarded. Deductions will be shown on your Invoices across the periods FEEE Funding covers for each term. FEEE Funding is available 38 weeks per year or can be split across the 52 weeks a year at the lower hours per week.

A minimum of two sessions per week must be booked. Please state your preference on the registration form. Arrival and collection times are strict, due to registration, insurance and your child’s welfare.
